Dublin HELP Awards Celebrate Volunteer Service

The Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin marked International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 by holding the 6th annual HELP Awards, an event dedicated to recognising people and groups helping others throughout Ireland. The event brought together volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates, changemakers and past honourees.

The keynote address was delivered by previous awardee Frank Allen, a playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher. This year’s award recipients included Walk And Talk and Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland and Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association and Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince news europe Ní Áogain and Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj, and Neera Baj.

Created in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards honour those whose work improves the lives of others through service. The awards reflect the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, through which trained volunteers provide practical support in communities and during crises.
